Dr. Albert Bolles
Landec – President, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Bolles serves as Chief Executive Officer of Landec and has been with the company since 2014 serving as a member on the Landec Board of Directors. Prior to joining Landec, Dr. Bolles served as Executive Vice President, Chief Technical and Operations Officer at ConAgra Foods until his retirement in August 2015. Dr. Bolles had been with ConAgra Foods, one of North America’s largest packaged food companies, since 2006 and led the Research, Quality & Innovation and Supply Chain organizations. Dr. Bolles has led innovation programs for multiple new products, generating incremental sales and a multi-year pipeline to sustain and advance future growth. In advancing innovation at ConAgra, Dr. Bolles developed two external scientific advisory boards comprised of nationally recognized leaders to shape strategy and create industry leadership for ConAgra in Health & Wellness and Food Safety. As an industry partner with the FDA and USDA on influencing and crafting public policy that benefits consumers, Dr. Bolles was instrumental in the passage of the Food Safety Modernization Act in 2010. Prior to joining ConAgra Foods, Dr. Bolles led worldwide research and development for PepsiCo Beverage and Foods. Dr. Bolles holds six patents and has won numerous awards for his contributions to the world of food science. He is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.S. in Microbiology plus an M.S. and Ph.D. in Food Science.
Landec – SVP of Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. McLaughlin was appointed as SVP of Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer of Landec Corporation in December 2019. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of Curation Foods (formerly Apio) since August 2015. Prior to joining Curation Foods, Mr. McLaughlin was Executive Vice President and CFO of Big Idea Holdings, LLC from 2010 until 2015, CFO of EuroFresh Farms from 2008 until 2009, CFO of Driscoll’s, Inc. from 2006 until 2007 and CFO of Fresh Express, Inc. from 1996 until 2006. In addition, he spent 19 years in commercial banking, the majority of which was in corporate middle market and real estate development debt restructurings.
James G. Hall
Lifecore – President
Mr. Hall was appointed President in June 2017. Mr. Hall served as Vice President and General Manager since July 2013, Vice President of Operations since 2006 and was Director of Manufacturing Operations and Engineering since 2001; prior to that he was the Manager of Engineering and Operations at Lifecore. Mr. Hall has over 25 years of drug and device manufacturing experience.
Landec – SVP Human Resources, Chief People Officer
Ms. Kimball serves as Landec’s Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer. She leads the human resources organization and serve as a steward of Landec’s culture. Kimball returned to Landec in 2019 after previously serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to rejoining Landec, Kimball served as Vice President, Enterprise Learning and Talent Management at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and as Director of Human Resources while at Belcorp USA. During her career she held multiple positions during her tenure at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., including Vice President Human Resources, and she worked with J. Walter Thompson Worldwide as Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development. Ms. Kimball has her Executive Coaching Certification from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and her Masters, Psychology/Organizational Development and undergraduate degree from National University.
Curation Foods – SVP, Supply Chain
Mr. Burgess leads end-to-end supply chain operations for Curation Foods focusing the business on execution, while increasing profitability. Prior to Curation Foods, Mr. Burgess served as Vice President, Global Manufacturing at Trident Seafoods. Mr. Burgess also held several leadership roles throughout his tenure at Mead Johnson Nutrition, where he ran end-to-end supply chain operations in high-growth international regions, oversaw acquisition integration and delivered capital projects on time and on budget. His deep experience within the food industry includes management positions at The Dannon Company, Basic Vegetable Products L.P., Sunkist Growers Inc., Nestle/Carnation Company and Golden Cheese Company of California.
